Generate a voucher batch

Go to Hotspot access and select Generate vouchers.
Voucher package:
- Service plan — the plan that sets each voucher’s speed, data, and time;
- Number of vouchers;
- Batch reference — a reference to recognise this batch, for example “Cafe-Mehr-Sept”.
Validity:
- Starts on first use — the voucher’s time counts from its first login; or
- Fixed expiry — all vouchers expire at one set date and time.
- Activation deadline (optional) — a voucher not used by this date stops working.
Where vouchers work: all access zones or selected zones.
Select Generate … vouchers (it shows the number of vouchers).

Download the codes — once only

Voucher codes are security-sensitive and Farava does not keep them forever. Once the batch is ready, see One-time export on the batch’s page:

Select Download PDF (for printing) or Download CSV (for another system).
Download deadline shows until when you can download.
When you have stored or printed the file safely, select Seal export to close downloading.

Treat printed codes like cash: anyone holding a code can connect with it.

How a customer signs in

The customer connects to the Hotspot Wi-Fi and opens any website. The login page opens and they type the whole voucher code into the single field. The code looks like HSP-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX. The login page is in Dari and English.

Find and manage a voucher

Under Hotspot access → Vouchers, search by the Locator (the first part of the code printed on the voucher). On the voucher’s page:

see its activation state, expiry, and Voucher sessions;
Suspend — the voucher stops working temporarily; Resume restores it;
Revoke — the voucher is cancelled permanently; this cannot be undone.

A session already connected with that voucher closes once the router acknowledges the disconnect.
